These five men have fearlessly taken the weight of ballet on their shoulders. Currently, these five men are the last of the gods. There was a time when men dominated the ballet world, and that included Ethan Stiefel, Jose Carreno, Angel Corella etc etc etc… When body types resembled Greek gods, and powerful legs. Now ballet is shifting back to the ballerina, along with a new male body type we haven’t really seen. The new male ballet body type is slender and a lot sleeker like Daniil Simkin and Jeffery Cirio. So, let us take the time to appreciate these 5 men for achieving greatness in ballet.
