I know, that this is a good thing… that the magazine is a good thing, and I am gaining a lot of support– But, in order to make this happen in such a short timespan, I need more help. It is mostly financial help… I am not begging for money either, but I am looking for a backer… or investor… or ideally, an angel investor… I know it is crazy to take a risk on a blogger, but trust me… This is something to take a risk on… Sometimes, you just have to put this out there in the universe…
Our content is good… like really good… And I promise that it will actually be edited, unlike the blog and my Siri dictation. The layout is gorgeous… the aesthetic is there… The magazine is truly the collaboration of publishing and ballet… I am just running out of resources to make this happen…
For this issue to happen, exactly how I would like it to, exactly how I need it to… to not short out my readers… I need a bigger budget… I know it is being greedy, especially for a startup, but I want this to be as close to perfect as I can make it… I know that in the past two days I increased the content by 20 pages, but please trust me when I say it is good, like really good…
Not to sound greedy, but I kind of need close to 5k to produce this issue… This isn’t even spending on me… I don’t even have aballeteducation email address because I have been getting them for everyone else… lol… I probably should though, so I don’t look so unprofessional… The 5k would cover startup costs and the first production costs… It isn’t even paying the team that is coming together. In the past week, I have gone from a team of me and Edgar… to a team of 12… All of them are basically volunteering their time and talents… If you are so inclined universe, there is a donate button at the bottom of the page by clicking here. Thank You Universe… Please, oh pretty please make this happen.
Also for studio owners, I believe print editions will be available.
