Maria Kochetkova, the international Superstar, will be returning to English National Ballet in the Fall, according to her Insta. This social media superstar, fashion icon, and a prima ballerina are all packaged in a very petit package of five foot nothing. Famously hired out of the corps of English National Ballet in 2007 to principal at San Francisco Ballet in 2007, she became one of ballet’s most in-demand primas. From 2015-2017 she held a dual contract with American Ballet Theatre. At the end of the 2017-2018 season, she announced she would be leaving SFB, and spending time developing as an artist. Since leaving SFB, she has guested and freelanced around the world before ending up at Finnish National Ballet as a principal dancer for the 2020-2021 season. Now, she will return back to English National Ballet, the company in which she originally debuted.
