On the Move

Marcus Taylor (14) has steadily been on ballet’s radar finishing this year as the first-place winner of Youth American Grand Prix 2021 finals under the direction of Cindy Huang and Raul Salamanca, co-owners and directors, Golden State Ballet and Pilates. We had the pleasure to shoot Marcus this summer before he leaves for Academie Princess Grace in Monaco. Marcus is a hard-working, diligent, and breathtaking dancer. This editorial celebrates his transition into the next phase of his dance career by showcasing pre-fall fashion 2021.

We wrote about Marcus’ GoFundMe campaign earlier this week to raise the finals funds he needs to achieve his dream of becoming a principal dancer by continuing his training at the prestigious Academie Princess Grace.

You can donate to his campaign below.

Marcus attributes his success and continued progression to a multitude of dance education programs, teachers, and facilities that have given scholarships and tirelessly worked with Marcus. Creating the next generation of exceptional dancers is not without the generosity of the many. You can find the list below of all the dance educators who have provided him with his training:
