On the Move

Marcus Taylor (14) has steadily been on ballet’s radar finishing this year as the first-place winner of Youth American Grand Prix 2021 finals under the direction of Cindy Huang and Raul Salamanca, co-owners and directors, Golden State Ballet and Pilates. We had the pleasure to shoot Marcus this summer before he leaves for Academie Princess Grace in Monaco. Marcus is a hard-working, diligent, and breathtaking dancer. This editorial celebrates his transition into the next phase of his dance career by showcasing pre-fall fashion 2021.

We wrote about Marcus’ GoFundMe campaign earlier this week to raise the finals funds he needs to achieve his dream of becoming a principal dancer by continuing his training at the prestigious Academie Princess Grace.

You can donate to his campaign below.

Marcus attributes his success and continued progression to a multitude of dance education programs, teachers, and facilities that have given scholarships and tirelessly worked with Marcus.
