The Ballet Clinic
The Ballet Clinic is the official school of A Ballet Education. Back in 2017 I took a job that resulted in a fiasco no one saw coming. From there, I started private consulting and coaching for studios, and students. Eventually, the students outnumbered the schools, and kids from around the world were flying in doing consults about why their training wasn’t working, or why their ballet careers weren’t panning out as they thought. After two years of private coaching, and having huge successes, I realized that there was a need for a ballet school that wasn’t bound by pedagogy or curriculum, but dictated by the individuals in the school and what they need to be successful. So, in 2019, I opened The Ballet Clinic. After five successful seasons, 95% of those who graduate Clinic end up at the top professional schools including the School of American Ballet, ABT’s JKO, Houston Ballet Academy, and San Francisco Ballet School or a professional contract. The other five percent have ended up at some of the top universities in the United States including Columbia, NYU, USC, and the University of Arizona.
Guest teachers and faculty have included: Ashley Hod (NYCB), Andrew Veyette (NYCB), Larissa Saveliev (YAGP), Gennadi Saveliev (YAGP), Jillian Davis (Complexions), Sasha De Sola (San Francisco Ballet), Julia Rowe (San Francisco Ballet), Angelica Generosa (PNB), Jason Coosner (Burbank Dance Academy), Nicole Olson, Jordyn Siegfried, Spencer Dennis, Kevin Jenkins, Eastlyn Jensen (Ballet Arizona).
